Bizovacke Toplice is a famous Slavonian spa located 18 km from Osijek where the thousands year old spring was discovered only in the early 1970s.
The exclusive features of the Bizovac hyperthermal water have won an international reputation, so now it is one of the largest and modernly equipped spas in the country and the place where the first thermal Riviera was arranged.
This is also the hottest Croatian spring featuring 96°C hot mineral water coming from a depth of almost 2000 m. The water is enriched with minerals (magnesium, sodium, barium, potassium, strontium), with a content of salt almost identical to that of the Adriatic Sea.
Bizovacke Toplice offers posttraumatic treatment of sports injuries and chronic medical conditions, such as rheumatic, respiratory, neurological and gynaecological diseases.
The spa is well-packed with facilities. The clinic for medical rehabilitation provides hydrotherapy, kinesitherapy, electrotherapy including galvanic baths and magnetotherapy, a variety of massages. The large Aquapolis bathing complex within Bizovacke Toplice comprises multifunctional pools with water slides, whirlpools, jacuzzis. A fitness centre and other sports facilities can be found on the premises of the Hotel Termia.
